Three of Six

Redbay Boats recently delivered three boats of a six-boat order, boats that are based on the workhorse of our fleet, the ever-popular Stormforce 6.5.

The Stormforce 6.5 is the commercial version of the Stormforce 650 and it has always proven to be very reliable and robust, in part due to the Heavy Duty Offshore Hull design/construction, and in part due to the its superior handling characteristics.

The Stormforce 6.5 can easily be built to comply with the latest workboat codes both in the UK and abroad, it is also the perfect choice for professional users looking to develop a custom RIB for workboat applications.

This latest order of six boats showcases the single seat explorer console with in-line jockey seats for an optimal viewing position and maximum deck space. Both seats and bow lockers are fitted with lockable lids to offer safe and dry storage.

Navigation is delivered by the latest Garmin GPSMap 723xsv touch screen display, flush mounted in the console for security and protection. The Garmin is coupled to the GT-15IH oil bath in hull depth transducer which delivers depth readings even at high speeds.

Now for the engines…The boats are fitted with the latest generation Suzuki DF115BX Four Stroke Outboards, offering innovative engineering, low noise emissions and reliability. They give smooth and precise control with immediate shifting, particularly at low revs, aiding fuel efficiency. They are teamed with Suzuki 4” square digital gauge, showing information including engine rpm and trim, boat speed, fuel management and rev counter. These ergonomically mounted controls offer maximum comfort when at the helm. The keyless start system offers easy, stress free starting, and acts as an immobiliser to help deter theft. The key fob floats, too!
