Launched yesterday afternoon for Mr Julian James and Mr Oscar Strugstad, the latest Stormforce 8.4 is an open version fitted with twin Suzuki 250hp outboards. This is also the most powerful 8.4 to date.

During the sea trials this boat was achieving a maximum speed of 53 knots! Fitout includes 2 single pod seats, 2 double pod seats, an aft bench seat, and a forward folding bench seat which houses a cool box. A Garmin 4012 chartplotter is fitted, as is a teak finish non-slip deck.

Once the sea trials were completed, the boat was loaded back onto its trailer and was on its way to the ferry terminal in time to be loaded onto the ferry to Birkenhead last night. Julian and Oscar plan to keep the boat in Southampton.
